I’m very happy with how this vase turned out. What more can I say?
My collection of painted eggs is getting out of control. I may need to start hiding them…
Bit of an update on one of the murals I painted, it was vandalized a could weeks after I finished painting it, along with a few other walls in the neighborhood (For the record this was back in March. Yes, I’m aware it’s currently December). No need to worry though, I was able to get back out there and fix it no problem.
New mural! New Mural! New Mural!
I recently finished painting another mural in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Jacksonville, FL. For this one I went big. I really wanted to "magnify" my design for this one. It seemed right for this wall based on the environment and location (especially with the trees in front of it). The majority of people will most likely be seeing this wall while passing by in a car. So the thought was, I wanted the "viewer" to be able to take it all in, in a short amount of time. Pretty much the same approach to designing a billboard. If I used a bunch of smaller shapes with a lot of line work, I feel it wouldn't have been as impactful.
I'm really happy with how this mural turned out. I'm definitely hoping I get the opportunity to do more. You can check out the progress photos below.
I just finished painting a new mural in Murray Hill. STOKED on how it turned out. Here's a process pic as a teaser. I'll post more photos soon.
New hand-painted IKEA mug I recently finished up. I think it would make a great pot/planter for a small plant/succulent. But it could also make your latte art look even cooler. I've coated it with a dishwasher safe Modge Podge, but recommend gently washing it by hand, only when needed.
This one is currently available in my Etsy shop
Last year I had the opportunity to paint a mural for Vagabond Coffee in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Jacksonville, FL. I just realized that I posted process pics but never posted any final shots. Really proud of this project, and so thankful to everyone that helped out! If you're ever in the neighborhood, drop by and check it out.
Happy New Year!
Finishing up some more ornaments...
